Corporals and supervisors are assigned the Patrol 'A', 'B', and 'C' shifts handle the bulk of the calls for service and self-initiated events for the Department. "Park and Walk" and "Directed Patrol" efforts continue to be effective tools providing direct contact between police officers and community members. These Divisions are the backbone of law enforcement services that the Police Department provides to the citizens of Odessa.
